KERZ Enters Beatport Top 100 at #3 with latest EP on Elevator Program Label

KERZ latest EP for the Elevator Program record label smashes into the Beatport Top 100 Techno Charts at #3 just behind Amelie Lens and Charlotte DeWitte. Labyrinthine EP is another example of an evolving Techno aesthetic from KERZ that is quickly capturing global attention.

The Irish producer and techno aficionado delivers four tasteful cuts, showcasing his immense talent once more. Hold on tight as the “Labyrinthine” EP traverses a spectrum of underground and innovative textures, a signature touch in all of KERZ’s work in previous years.

The title track kicks off the release in true Elevator Program fashion: dark and driven beats, ready to rumble through the most industrial of spaces. An enormous kick pulses, providing the heartbeat of the night. “Mandelbrot Set” is built upon a thunderous atmosphere as it twists and turns, with ravey beeps and bleeps manoeuvring around the gripping forward motion of the track. “Cosmic Oomph” has a playful energy to it; the intensity never drops, but eccentric pads and synths continue to evolve throughout.

The throbbing sounds of “Within Or Without” round off this body of work, making it a 4-out-of-4 sure shot for the most discerning of collectors. A pure energy shines brightly throughout, looking to spread across the smoky dance floors of this festival season.

KERZ and Elevator have been in collaboration for some time now, with KERZ consistently honing his craft since jumping aboard the tuition series, using his history as a musician to develop his fascination with the sounds of techno. This will undoubtedly not be the last you hear from the Dublin-based producer, and certainly not from the Elevator Program label.

ABOUT KERZ

KERZ is a music producer and DJ from Dublin, Ireland. He started attending raves at 16 and quickly fell in love with electronic music and the party culture that went along with it. Having been a dedicated musician, teaching himself how to play guitar and piano in his teens, KERZ knew that he wanted to expand his skillset and create Techno. This eventually led him to cross paths with Hybrasil and his journey into music production began.

KERZ's debut release "Sometimes Bad Things Are Funny" on the Elevator Program peaked at number 16 on the Beatport Techno Peak Time/Driving release chart. Next came his debut album “NO”, a deep dive into his expanding sound which had been gaining momentum on Dublin dancefloors. This sat at number 4 on the charts, gaining support from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Funk D'Void and Ilario Alicante.
